Typosquatting
Typosquatting is registering a misspelled or lookalike version of a well-known domain to catch people who mistype it or don't look closely.
Typosquatters swap letters (rn for m), add or drop a letter, add a hyphen, or use a different ending such as .co instead of .com.
The lookalike site may copy the real one to steal logins, sell fake goods, or install malware.
Bookmark the sites you use for banking and shopping, and read the domain right to left before you type anything.
